Learning eXperience Design portfolio

Learning eXperience Design (according to Leda) is:
the creation of a program (in whatever format is applicable) that enables the individual it is aimed at to learn and grow, develop and progress on their path to fulfilling their potential.

MY PERSONAL

PHiLOSOPHY of EDUCATiON

is HOLiSTiC and EXPERiENTiAL.

That is, the whole person must be considered. And we learn best through DOiNG or EXPERiENCiNG new concepts.

Learning Systems Model (2011)

A primary theme of my Masters and PhD research was in developing a Learning Systems Model, which I then used to describe my particular experiential learning methods.

PhD: Creating a Space for Integrative Education in the Sciences
Masters: A Computing Studio Method for Teaching Design Thinking

ONLINE COURSE

MY HUNGRY HEAD

A weight loss program to help change mindset around eating.

My brief was to take material from an existing course, based on a book, and update the entire program.
This example showcases my ability to design to a very specific brief, resulting in a simple, elegant and useful solution. Copyright and privacy agreements mean I cannot show all the elements of the online program.

IN PERSON AND ONLINE COURSE

MY BODY, MY MUSE

Healing body image through CREATiViTY.

This is my own program, based on the book of the same name.
The course (and the book) follow a creative process I developed and have successfully used with clients for some years.
The course can be done in-person or online, in a small group or as an individual. I created material in the form of videos and a workbook to support the sessions with clients.
